Unauthorised work on Uphill Local Nature Reserve

It has come to NSC's attention that someone has been cutting the bramble on the reserve side of the wall along Uphill Way.

 

This isn’t work the council are aware of or have authorised and it has exposed low walls and old fencing which would have been blocked by vegetation, but will now likely need costly remedial action. It has also caused bramble and ivy to peel off the wall on the Uphill Way side which is in danger of falling into the road.

If you are aware of anything or see anyone carrying out these works, please let the Council of Village Society  know as soon as possible.
