WHAT FUTURE UPHILL PUBLIC WHARF

Uphill Village Society has for many years been in discussion with North Somerset Council in relation to the management and upkeep of Uphill's public wharf.
The council has now submitted to the Society its report and recommendations in relation to this site.

In light of the councils report a public meeting has been arranged by the Society on Thursday, 9 November 2023 at 7 pm in the main hall of the Uphill Victory Hall in Westfield Road, Uphill. The author of the Council's report together with Executive Councillor Mike Solomon will be in attendance to present their recommendations and answer questions
Uphill Public Wharf is an important site in the village abutting as it does local SSSi sites and nature reserves. As a resident/boatowner or use of the wharf/local business/ representative for the village it is hoped that you will attend this meeting which is planned to last for no more than two hours followed by refreshments.
