The Trustees are putting in place a robust plan of action in readiness for the proposed opening of the Village Hall on or after 1st September. For the present use would be limited to existing hirers who have been asked to provide information as to how they would wish to return to the hall.

If users wish to hire the hall they will be required to undertake and supply a copy of their own risk assessment prior to any booking being accepted.
How to Hire Uphill Village Victory Hall
Welcome to Uphill Village Victory Hall. We have two halls, (the large hall has a stage and dance/sports floor area), and a fully equipped kitchen.
We are pleased that you have chosen our Hall for your event and hope that you enjoy using its facilities.
The village hall is used by a variety of organisations, and for a number of functions. We have as few rules as possible, but ask you to adhere closely to them – they form part of the conditions of hire and are in the interest of maintaining effective health and safety procedures. A copy is available from the booking secretary.

Q: How to book the village hall
A: Check that the hall is free on the date you want. Call the Booking Secretary, Carol Hartley on 01934 413408 to find out and discuss your requirements.

Q: If I want to have a regular slot how do I do it?
A: Use the Booking Form. Again telephone Carol check to see if the dates you want are free for the period you want.
Q: How do I book a Special Event?
A: Simply check the if the date is available; the diary of bookings may not be completed if you are looking 9 -12 months ahead so we advise that you phone Carol to discuss your requirement and arrange a visit to see the village hall facilities for yourself.
Q: Is a deposit payable?
A: We reserve a right to require the payment of a deposit and will particularly for special events or for bookings in advance. Deposits are expected to hold the date otherwise there is no guarantee your date is booked. Refund terms will be agreed on booking.
The Booking Secretary will confirm either by email or post with a reference number serving as your invoice.
